In the Dolomites on the track of history

  • Daily program

    1° day
    From the Valparola Pass (2168 m) we hike to the Falzarego Pass following the Austrian front line and reach the entrance of the Italian tunnels of the Piccolo Lagazuoi. 
    We walk through the amazing tunnel system built during the First World War and visit the famous Martini Ledge ?Cengia Martini?. Overnight stay at the Lagazuoi mountain hut (2752 m).

    2° day
    From the mountain hut we reach Cadin di Lagazuoi from where we continue along to the Forcella del Lago (2486 m). Descent to the Fanes mountain hut (2060 m).

    3° day
    From the Fanes mountain hut we walk through beautiful alpine meadows and then along the ?Via della Pace? (peace trail) to the Monte Vallon Bianco (2688 m). Descent to Fiames (Cortina d?Ampezzo) through the Fanes valley and return to the Valparola Pass by taxi.
